Check out litedeck.com for a new way to do a spancrete garage. Instead of precast concrete forms (spancrete), you use styrofoam forms in the shape of joists and then pour concrete into the styofoam forms. You can clear span up to 40 feet with the right rebar schedule in the forms. It is 10% cheaper than spancrete and is all one pour. The underside is already insulated from the styrofoam forms and you can attach sheetrock to the forms by screwing the sheerock to the metal studs in the form. Great product!
